Andersen collaborated with Europcar, a prominent player in the Scandinavian car rental market and part of the world’s largest car rental network, to develop a cutting-edge digital car rental platform. Europcar’s platform includes a web-based administration system and a cross-platform mobile app, providing access to over 190,000 vehicles and 13,000 rental locations globally.

The project focused on creating a serverless application architecture that integrates seamlessly with various microservices. Users can rent and book cars through the platform, filter options based on their preferences (e.g., class, cost, size, fuel consumption, or location), and even access vehicles via Bluetooth. The user-friendly design and flexibility for adding new API functionalities made the solution highly adaptable and widely praised. The project’s success led to the platform being adopted as a white-label solution, showcasing Andersen’s expertise in developing innovative and scalable digital solutions.
